Favorite Restaurants

Here are my top 3 favorite restaurants in my town. My favorites must consist of 3 things- 1. Great food. 2. Amazing atmosphere. 3. Great customer service.

So, if you haven't tried these places yet, you need to! Here they are:








Number 3- Panera Bread



A new place to Bakersfield, Panera is a favorite among most.


All the bread is freshly baked, with leftovers sent to the homeless shelter.


Atmosphere is easy-going, cafe style, smooth and calm. A place you can sit for a few hours, drink coffee, and enjoy amazing sandwiches!




Number 2- Elephant Bar


While Elephant Bar is common and in many different cities and states, it's still a favorite place to visit for some food around the world.



The atmosphere and lighting at night really brings out the adventure, with 'safari' style lights outside. And the luggage above your head in the booths make you wonder where you will be traveling with your favorite dish.



Great food, and if you get the right server, they will talk in different accents. Love it!


And for my all time favorite....



Number 1- Coconut Joe's


Travel to the Hawaiian Islands with this restaurant! With "Disney Status" atmosphere, amazing food (my favorite is the fish and chips, or the Honowoowoo bowl), and entertainment, Coconut Joe's is my all time favorite restaurant here in my town. Have a look at what it has to offer-














While there are many other amazing places to eat, these are just my favorites. Some other great places include Narducci's and Woolgrowers. Bakersfield is famous for Basque food. Pickled tongue, anyone?
