Yesterday I prayed for change, today I woke up thinking to myself, why not be the change I want to see. And tomorrow I'm going to make those thoughts become actions and do just that. Changes in my life, for the best.
Good for you. I've always read several things from the Bible as meaning that God expects us to do as much as we can before he will step in and make up the difference that we can't do ourselves. If we're trying our best and putting in an honest effort, he will answer prayers and help us. I've also discovered that he will often want us to make the choice about direction in our lives and then he will let us know if that is right or wrong.
Be the change you want and the Lord will either support you or let you know that you need something different. :)
